NETWORK 2000 CONTRIBUTES $100,000 TO UNIVERSITY OF MARYLAND LAW SCHOOLS WOMEN, LEADERSHIP AND EQUALITY PROGRAM
Baltimore—Network 2000, Inc., completed its pledge of $100,000 to the University of Maryland School of Laws Women, Leadership and Equality Program last week, a contribution made possible by the proceeds of Networks 2005 Women of Excellence Luncheon. The pledge will help further the Women, Leadership and Equality Programs mission to train women law students to become future leaders.
Network 2000, a Maryland not-for-profit organization promoting the advancement of women in professional and executive positions, holds the Women of Excellence Luncheon annually in Baltimore, providing a forum for professionals to experience insight from some of the worlds most influential and inspiring women.
This year, Network 2000 presents former Egyptian first lady Jehan Sadat as its Women of Excellence Luncheon keynote speaker, while Kaiser Permanente will serve as the events Presenting Sponsor. The 13th annual event will take place Thursday, Nov. 30, at the Hyatt Regency Baltimore (300 Light St.). Proceeds from the 2006 event will benefit various Network 2000 initiatives as well as several local charities.

Network 2000, Inc, is a statewide organization of professional women and men, which initiates, supports and engages in educational programs and activities to prepare and promote women to achieve their full professional potential.
