AMBASSADOR NANCY G. BRINKER, FOUNDER SUSAN G. KOMEN FOR THE CUREĀ® TO BE SPEAKER AT 2010 WOMEN OF EXCELLENCE EVENT

We applaud the Ambassador and the organization for its raising awareness about breast health through its annual Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure. To get information about this annual event in our state, visit Maryland Race for the Cure.

We expect this year's luncheon to be another sold-out event drawing over 1,200 attendees.

Background of Women of Excellence

In 1993, Network 2000 brought Patricia Aburdene, author of Megatrends for Women, to Baltimore for the first Women of Excellence program and the event has grown to a sold out capacity. The 16th annual Women of Excellence luncheon was held on November 11, 2009 at Martin's West.

The Women of Excellence event is part of Network 2000’s mission to promote women in leader ship positions and on corporate boards through education, awareness and mentoring.
